Hi, I am looking on behalf of friend of mine. He asked me to do it.
He is relocating from US to Sweden (Gothenburg area is his preferred area). I am doing that because he is busy working, selling his house(it will be finalized by the end of April). Anyway he intends to leave US after the school year ends (middle of June). But first he will go to Bulgaria. He is sending a container with his stuff and has to be there to release it at the port.
Also I plan to do the same move in couple years. So it’s like a trial run for me.
I wish that I can do it now but I have to wait for my son to finish high school.
His requirements are:
1. 3 bedroom - has two kids. The size of the bedrooms is not important. Something around 100 m2 with parking space and backyard or patio
2. Detached house or row(semidetached) house
3. Not in a vulnerable area. That’s probably the most important requirement. Even though that we live in Chicago and our standards might be different. Just to be on the safe side.
4. Good school (primary) nearby
5. Rent around 2000USD (21000 Krona)
6. Moving around 1st of August (his idea was to get AirB&B for 2 weeks and find a house but I told him that there not enough houses for rent on such a short note)
7. I don’t know about the length of the lease. What would be available. But 1 year lease that can be extended works best.
8. Furnished
9. Like I said earlier it has to be in Gothenburg or nearby. Preferably with good public transportation.
He lives in US for long time and we like to drive everywhere (that’s the lifestyle in US) but walking and taking public transportation sounds appealing.
