Dear Sir/Madam,

I am looking for an apartment or studio in or around Leiden.

I am a scientist with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and have been living and working in the Netherlands for over three years. I have recently accepted a full-time position as Associate II Manufacturing at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) in Leiden, starting on 1 October 2026. I am therefore relocating from Nijmegen to the Leiden area.

I have been actively searching for accommodation for some time, but unfortunately, despite applying to many properties, I have not yet been able to find a suitable home. As my starting date is approaching, I would greatly appreciate any assistance your organization could provide.

I am looking for a studio or one-bedroom apartment, preferably in Leiden or the surrounding areas with a convenient connection to the BMS site. Because I will be working shifts that can start as early as 7:00 AM and finish as late as 11:30 PM, it is very important that I can travel to and from work reliably at these hours.

The property does not necessarily need to be fully furnished. An unfurnished or semi-furnished property would also be suitable, particularly if essential large appliances such as a refrigerator/freezer, cooking facilities, and preferably a washing machine are available.

My gross monthly salary will be approximately €3,900–4,000 including shift allowance. I will be renting alone I am responsible, tidy, a non-smoker, and have no pets. I can provide my employment contract and job offer, and I also have a guarantor if additional financial security is required.

Ideally, I would like to move around the end of September before starting my new position on 1 October. or if it is not possible, i want to know when availability is.

I would be very grateful if you could let me know whether you can assist me with finding suitable accommodation or recommend any housing options available through your organization.
