Tom is looking for apartment or room for rent in De Bilt, Houten or Zeist etc., The Netherlands

I am looking for a room or small studio in Utrecht or the surrounding area, ideally available from October 2026.

My preferred budget is up to €850 per month, including or excluding utilities depending on the total cost. I am open to Utrecht as well as nearby areas such as Nieuwegein, Zeist, Houten, De Bilt, Vleuten-De Meern, Maarssen and Hilversum.

I am 22 years old and currently working as a seasonal cook in Vlieland, Netherlands. I have a stable income and can provide proof of employment, income and other required documents. My plan is to move to the Utrecht area first and then find a local job.

The possibility to register at the address (BRP/inschrijving) is very important to me. I am preferably looking for a long-term or indefinite rental contract, but I am also open to temporary accommodation if registration is possible.

I am open to both a private studio and a room in a shared house. I am clean, quiet, respectful and considerate of other peoples privacy and need for peace and quiet.

I do not need luxury or a large space. My main priorities are a reasonable price, a safe and comfortable place to live, BRP registration, and good access to Utrecht by public transport or car.
