We’re looking for a new roommate to fill a room in our shared apartment (WG), so if you’re interested, keep reading!
The Room
The room is approximately 12.5 m2 (about 135 sq ft) and comes with one window and one radiator. It gets plenty of afternoon sunlight. There are currently a few pieces of furniture in the room that can be taken over if you'd like, including a 140 cm bed and a large wardrobe.
The Apartment
The apartment has:
1 bathroom
1 separate toilet
1 kitchen
1 living room
2 additional bedrooms (currently occupied by one roommate each)
A dishwasher and washing machine are also available.
Outside, we have a garden on a gentle slope, a ground-level basement, a vaulted cellar, and a large driveway. The neighborhood is very quiet and mainly consists of small detached houses.
The nearest subway station is about a 7-minute walk away, and it takes roughly 15 minutes to reach the city center. There is also a good night bus connection. An EDEKA supermarket is located right next to the subway station.
About Us
We’re An (26) and Robin (27). We’re both currently working while completing our vocational training. We were close friends long before moving in together.
Our interests overlap in some areas and differ in others, especially when it comes to technology and motorsports. Overall, we're both pretty nerdy and usually up to date on current TV shows, movies, and video games. We also regularly play Dungeons & Dragons (tabletop RPG) with friends in our free time.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who wants more than just a place to stay. We'd love to find someone who enjoys living together and becomes part of the shared apartment rather than treating it as just a practical arrangement.
We take our household responsibilities seriously, and we'd expect you to do the same. We have a cleaning schedule that we rotate through.
Unfortunately:
Smoking inside the apartment (including out of the window) is not allowed.
Pets that roam freely around the apartment are not permitted.
Internet and the German broadcasting fee (GEZ/Rundfunkbeitrag) are handled separately.
Your Application
Please tell us a bit about yourself:
Who are you?
What do you do?
What are your hobbies?
What does a typical day look like for you?
What’s important to you when living with roommates?
When would you like to move in?
One Last Thing!
When you apply, please send us something you've come across recently that you found particularly funny or interesting. Don't be afraid to be a little bold—maybe your sense of humor matches ours perfectly, and that'll make it easier for us to get to know you!
Also, we'd love it if you could share one of your favorite songs with us.
