Hi! I’m Lars, and I’m looking for a housemate for my apartment in Amsterdam West, a few steps from the Jordaan and Oud West.

The place is on the top floor of a beautiful 18th-century municipal monument: high ceilings, a brand-new herringbone floor, and Scandinavian touches throughout. Your room is 16m2, fully furnished and ready by October, with a high-quality bed and mattress, a spacious wardrobe, a proper desk setup for remote work, and lots of natural light. The rest of the apartment has a modern open kitchen with a cooking island, a cozy living room with a large TV, a bathroom with both a walk-in shower and a whirlpool bath, and a separate toilet. The whole apartment, your room included, gets professionally cleaned once a month.

A bit about me and what I’m after

I work as a Product Manager in tech and I’m away a fair amount, so you’ll have the place to yourself for stretches at a time. When I’m home I’m pretty calm and low-key, I’m not one for parties or noise. That said, I do like having a bit of life in the house: a proper chat in the kitchen, cooking together now and then, grabbing dinner somewhere nearby.

So I’m hoping to find someone with a bit of energy about them. Someone chatty and easy to talk to, who’s up for the occasional plan but also happy to keep things relaxed. If you speak Spanish, that’s a small bonus, I’m learning and would happily practice.
