Im relocating from Jersey City, USA to Eindhoven, Netherlands to start a PhD Candidate position at TU/e (Eindhoven University of Technology), beginning November 1st. My target arrival date is October 14th.

Budget: €900–1,200/month

Location: Eindhoven or a nearby town with good train connections — Tilburg, Den Bosch, Best, Boxtel, Vught, Valkenswaard, Heerlen, or Maastricht are all workable, up to about an hours commute to Eindhoven.

Property type: Open to a studio, apartment, or private room in a shared house. Furnished or semi-furnished preferred, since Im moving internationally with limited belongings.

Move-in: Available from October 14th. Open to either a permanent long-term lease (12+ months) or temporary/short-term accommodation to start, since I need to register with a Dutch municipality within 5 days of arrival regardless of whether the lease is long-term.

Household: Single occupant. I have one cat — spayed, litter-trained, calm, no history of damage to previous rentals. Open to paying an additional pet deposit if that helps.

Income: €3,204/month gross starting November 1st (signed offer letter available as proof), plus documented US income history. Guarantor available if needed.

Lifestyle: Quiet, tidy, non-smoker, no musical instruments.
