I am looking for room for rent in Lausanne, Switzerland (Wishes to exchange)

I am an EPFL exchange student looking for furnished accommodation in Lausanne or nearby from August 30, 2026 to January 30, 2027.

I am primarily looking for a private room in a shared apartment, student residence, studio, or room in a private home. I am flexible regarding the type of accommodation and would also consider temporary housing for the first few weeks or first month if a longer-term option is not immediately available.

My priority is to find an affordable option with good public transport connections to EPFL, ideally within approximately 30–40 minutes of the campus. Areas such as Lausanne, Ecublens, Renens, Crissier, Chavannes-près-Renens, Prilly, or other well-connected nearby locations would all be suitable.

I am 21 years old, responsible, clean, respectful, quiet and a non-smoker. I will be living alone and do not have pets. I am comfortable sharing common areas such as the kitchen and bathroom and am happy to contribute to normal household responsibilities.

My family fully supports my stay, and I can provide my EPFL exchange confirmation, identification, references, proof of financial support, or other documents if required.

I am flexible and open to different housing possibilities, with affordability, safety, and convenient access to EPFL being my main priorities.
