Independent apartment on the first floor of a restored village house, with views over the Gaià valley. We live on the second floor of the same house.

The house is located in the centre of the village, right next to a public parking area. Within a few metres you will find a children's playground, a dog park and pleasant walking paths. The village itself has all the services you need for daily life: a bakery, restaurants, a pharmacy, a tobacconist's and a medium-sized EuroSpar supermarket with a fishmonger's and a butcher's inside.

Although the entrance hall is shared with us, the apartment is completely enclosed with its own private access door. The shared hall includes a reading corner with a bookshelf and a sofa, and a laundry area with two washing machines — one of them reserved for our guests.

The apartment, for your exclusive use, has one bedroom with a 150 cm (queen-size) double bed, a spacious kitchen-living room with a 150 cm sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a private terrace with a barbecue, table and chairs. There are two televisions, one in the living room and one in the bedroom.

Heating and cooling: the air-conditioning unit is in the living room and tenants have full control of it at all times, so you can adjust the temperature to your own preference throughout your stay.

Internet: fast fibre connection (600 Mb/s) with a dual-band router (2.4 and 5 GHz) located centrally in the apartment for strong signal coverage throughout — well suited to remote work and study.

Required documents: under Catalan rental regulations, fixed-term tenancies must state the temporary purpose of the stay in the contract. Before signing, we will ask for your ID or passport and a document confirming the reason for your stay (university enrolment, work contract, internship agreement or similar). This is standard practice for temporary rentals in Catalonia.

A note on noise: we are in a very quiet area and our neighbours have never caused us any trouble, but this is not an isolated property and occasional, generally unobtrusive sounds may be heard. We would not recommend booking if you need absolute silence.

About longer stays: the apartment is well suited to students, researchers, teachers and professionals on temporary assignments, as well as remote workers looking for a peaceful base with fast internet. Monthly rates are available on request.
