This corner house was built in 1915 and has all the typical charm of a Berlin residential building. The flat is on the 3rd floor (no lift). It has high ceilings, some of which feature stucco. The large windows and two balconies face west. The living room has wooden floorboards, whilst in the bedroom we have varnished the floor in the original ‘oxblood red’. As well as a hob, fridge and sink, the kitchen also features a small dining table. The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and a shower cubicle. The flat is fully equipped. The building is conveniently located: you can reach the city centre in just a few minutes by taking bus 120 (Glasgower Str.) or the U6 underground line (Seestraße or Rehberge stations). The Wedding district is not very touristy. It’s a great multicultural mix: on Müllerstrasse, 200 metres away, there are supermarkets, kebab shops, restaurants, a cinema, shisha bars, second-hand shops and department stores. Schillerpark is ideal for a stroll or a jog.
There is normal traffic on Barfusstraße. Ambulances can be heard from time to time. The windows have been refurbished and fitted with soundproof glass. There is no washing machine, but two coin-operated laundrettes are within walking distance.
I am letting this furnished property on a short-term tenancy until summer 2027.
