Welcome to one of the most authentic flats in Kreuzberg. A small door will you bring back directly in the 20s years of the Berlins “Belle epoque”. Old stripped pine floorboards, spacious high ceilings in traditional Berlin style, a big classic sofa of the late 20s and a tester bed have been put together to create a unique atmosphere of a forgotten time. The kitchen (with all things that are necessary for cooking and eating) and the bathroom (with a bathtub) have been also renewed following this style. Towels, linen and sheets were provided.

With the very attractive Graefestr. at its heart, Graefe-Kiez is full of tiny cafes, plant stores, candy shops, record stores, pizza shops and bars in a cosy, tree-lined area with a feeling very much geared to outdoor living. There is a wide age range, with a retirement home existing within the middle of young families and even younger artists and students. As Graefe-kiez borders Neuköllnand is directly next to the twice-weekly Turkish Market, there is also a highly visible Turkish community.
