Housingtarget.com has developed a filter to combat false and erroneous ads. We combine this with proactive communication to our users on how to avoid being cheated. False ads can never be completely avoided and it is therefore your own responsibility to avoid being cheated.
Our filter includes the following
1: You can only create housing ads if you simultaneously submit personal data and validate your email address.
2: All data of those who create housing ads are saved.
3: Data on new landlords is manually checked and approved by our administration for errors or data that may indicate fraud.
4: Data on all newly created housing ads is manually checked by our administration for errors or data that may indicate fraud.
5: All housing advertisers can be contacted directly via either their email address or their website and thus cannot hide behind an email system.
6: The vast majority of housing listings by professional landlords in the form of real estate companies are updated digitally and automatically from their respective websites many times a day, ensuring a very high degree of updating.
7: Manually created housing ads are automatically deactivated after one month. All other housing ads are updated by Housingtarget.com's automatic robots.
8: Housing ads are immediately removed from the search results on Housingtarget.com when the ad expires or is deactivated because the home is rented out.
9: If we deactivate a housing ad on the suspicion of fraud, all housing seekers who have requested the ad will be notified immediately (you will of course only receive this warning if you are still signed up for our service).
It is very important to emphasize that Housingtarget.com is an open platform and that erroneous ads or false ads created by criminals can in principle never be completely avoided. False ads are created by criminal gangs who are constantly trying to bypass our systems. Therefore, we can never guarantee that a fake ad will not pass through the filter. False ads can never be completely avoided and it is therefore your own responsibility to avoid being cheated.
